meet Juliana

I’m Juliana, a mom, a wife, a NICU nurse, a lover of Saturdays spent at kids soccer games and someone who really loves capturing your story.

My work is rooted in storytelling, being present, and slowing down enough to notice the small moments that make up everyday life.

My love for photography started when my oldest was a baby. In 2015, my own mom gifted me a DSLR camera, and I was determined to figure it out. Since then, I’ve upgraded my gear, but more importantly, I’ve spent countless hours learning, practicing, and shaping my style, photographing engagements, families, growing bellies, newborns, graduating seniors, and of course, my own family.

Over time, it became something that was just mine, a creative outlet through every season of motherhood, and something I’ve truly come to cherish. It’s what lets me slow things down and capture what it feels like to just be together.

I’m based in Broomfield, Colorado, and serve Boulder, Denver, and the surrounding areas.

A family of five walking on a gravel path in an open field with mountains in the background, holding hands and smiling, with a dog on a leash.
A woman and a young boy share a tender moment, with the boy kissing the woman's cheek, surrounded by floral arrangements.

My Approach

I’ve always loved the in-between moments, the ones that don’t seem like much while they’re happening, but end up meaning everything later. The way your little one reaches for you, the way you laugh together, the little things that change before you even notice.

My approach is simple. I’ll guide you when you need it, but for the most part, I’m just there to let things unfold. I will guide you but no stiff posing, no pressure, just real connection and the way your life actually feels right now. And don’t worry, I’ll still get those classic, everyone-smiling-at-the-camera shots too.

When I’m photographing you, I’m really just looking for connection, the laughter, the tenderness, the joy as it naturally unfolds, all captured in warm, true-to-life tones.

You don’t have to know what to do. Just show up, be with your people, and I’ll take care of the rest.
