Documenting your baby’s first days in a way that feels calm, intimate, and real
Those first days with your baby are unlike anything else, slow, emotional, and gone before you’ve had time to take it all in.
Newborn sessions are about preserving that feeling. The way they fit in your arms, the quiet moments at home, and the connection that’s already there.
My goal is to document this season exactly as it is, soft, natural, and deeply meaningful.
WHAT A SESSION WITH ME FEELS LIKE
Calm, slow, and baby-led
There’s no rushing and no pressure for your baby to do anything they don’t want to do.
These sessions are guided gently, but always centered around your baby’s needs, whether that means feeding, soothing, or simply taking a break.
I’ll offer light direction when needed, but most of the time I’m simply documenting the natural rhythm of your time together.
WHAT WE’LL CAPTURE
Tiny details—fingers, toes, expressions
The connection between you and your baby
Quiet, in-between moments at home
A mix of lightly guided images and natural interactions
WHEN TO SCHEDULE YOUR SESSION
Newborn sessions are typically scheduled within the first 1–3 weeks after birth, when babies are still very small and sleepy.
However, there is no strict timeline, these sessions are about documenting your baby as they are, whether that’s days or weeks into this new season.
I always suggest reaching out during your pregnancy so we can make space for your session
WHERE SESSIONS TAKE PLACE
Most newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home, using natural light and your existing space. When I come into your home, we’ll open up all the blinds and turn off the indoor lights so we get that soft, natural light.
This allows the session to feel relaxed, personal, and centered around your family’s real environment.
Studio options and Outdoors are also an option depending on your preference.
Let’s preserve these first days before they slip by
Because this season, in all its beauty and chaos, doesn’t stay the same for long
